that nest on nearby shores, La Tartaruga is Tobago's
premier Italian restaurant.
Offering a choice of al fresco dining on our
covered terrace or in our indoor restaurant, we serve only the very finest
Italian cuisine: homemade pasta, fish and rock lobsters,
in-house desserts and Gelato. A full vegetarian menu
is available. Herbs are home grown, breads are home baked, and
only the finest olive oils, olives and cheeses are imported from
Italy, while local ingredients are sourced from the best
suppliers on the island.
Our award winning wine cellar brings the glory of Italy's
famed wine regions to the tranquil shores of Tobago.

Ciao Café 
Ciao Café is an offspring of La Tartaruga. This
popular Gelateria and Italian cafe’ bar is located in Burnett
Street, in downtown Scarborough. The café is open Monday to
Saturday (09:00-22:00), Sunday & Holidays (17:00-22:00).
Ciao Café produces daily on site over 20 flavours of
Italian gelato ice cream, Espresso and Cappuccino (Illy Café),
cocktails and wine bar. Italian Lasagne, pizza, café food and
many different cakes and cheesecake. The café is fully
air-conditioned, or patio cafe’ tables outside.
